Digital twin-driven productions have opened great opportunities to increase the efficiency and quality of production processes. Smart assembly lines are one these in which effects geometric variations mating parts on assemblies can be minimized. These utilize different techniques, including selective locator adjustments, improve quality. This paper signifies that achievable improvements through techniques highly dependent utilized fixture layout for process. Hence, design methods followed a smart line discussed. Furthermore, scenarios applied two industrial sample cases from automotive industry. The aptest strategy each improvement technique is determined. Moreover, result highest defined. • improves by optimizing parameters. Selective individual adjustments employed line.
